Since March, SC Student Loan has continued to monitor the impact of the Coronavirus on South Carolina students, families, and schools.
We have contacted the repayment servicers for both our federal loan and private loan borrowers. Both Nelnet and Firstmark services have confirmed that all repayment services have been adjusted so that employees can continue working from home as well.
Payment processing, call center functions, and form processing will be maintained.
We understand the substantial effect COVID-19 may have on our borrowers, and we urge you to contact our servicer(s) below to discuss options for temporary assistance at this time.
We continue to process the PAL loan as normal, with no delays. If you postponed your fall term, or adjusted the amount you borrowed, you my apply for additional funds in the spring now. Any loan request will be sent to your school on the same day you finalize the application.
We are also in contact with all SC schools to be ready to adjust to any procedural requests they may have. Visit our School Loans page to complete the loan process.
